World Literacy Day 2023-24
It was first observed by UNESCO in 1967 and aims to promote global literacy. To signify the role of literacy and education in one’s life, the world observes International Literacy Day every year on September 8. The day reminds us of the importance of personal development, literacy, and progress of society.
Children’s Day-14/11/2023
Objective :This Celebration aims to raise awareness about children’s rights & challenges they face globally, We organized special events, competitions,& activities to make learning a joyful experience for children.
Vegetable Carving Competition -for Parents
Vegetable carving competition for the parents of students studying from std I to X was held in the school premises nearly 50 participants look part enthusiastically & displayed their act of carving. The exhibits were colorful….& eye catchy. The judges from the Chinmaya P U College had a tough time to select the winners. The school management appreciated the positive response of the prize winners with cash prize & certificate.
Parents Orientation Programme
Parent’s Orientation program was organized to ensure all round student development. The parents of all the Play home students were made familiar with all the school process.
The programme started with an invocation song. Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari Navada, Headmistress gave brief information on biography of Swami Chinmayanandaji, Chinmaya Mission, history of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, rules and regulations and Chinmaya Vision Programme (CVP).
Even the parent teachers’ meeting was held for the primary and high school sections from std I to X regarding the overall performance of the students and academic developments planned for the year 2023 – 24.
Shri Krishna Janmashtami 2023-24
Like every year this year to the school celeberarted krishna Janmashtami with great zeal.
The programme began with invocation song followed by devotional krishna bhajans,dance & rocking the cradle when balgopal was placed.The day was filled with serenity & joy as it had the presence of Swami Krutatmanandji the resident acharya of Hubballi who narrated many interesting stories based on the life of Lord Krishna.
The most rejoicing & long awaited moment of the day was braking of Dahi handi which filled the surroundings with festivitige.
Even pre-primary celebrated the day with great pomp where all the little ones dressed in the attire of Bal Gopal & Radha came to the school.
Teacher’s Day 2023-24
To pay tribute to an excellent teacher, philosopher and political -Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.
Acknowledge the role of the teacher in building the nation.
The school management celebrated the Teacher’s Day with full vigor by arranging an outside venue.’The Ananth Grand’
All the faculty members of Chinmaya institution attend the celeberation.The Chief Guest of the day Dr.Mukund Dixit ,an Retd.Prof from IIM Ahemdabad,graced the occasion with his presence and encouraged the teachers with his inspiring words.
Hindi Saptah 2023-24
Hindi Saptah is celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm .All the events were conducted with Happiness.Children recited poetry & Meerabai Bhajans .
National Sports Day-29/8/23
Objective-To Commemorate the birth anniversary of Hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand .Inculcate the habit of playing sports to keep oneself fit & healthy.
The school observed the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyanchand by organizing various sports event on occasion of National Sports Day. The incharge teacher Master Basavaraj(Karate Master) gave a start to the day by speaking about the importance of sports in ones life. A few sports events were conducted for the students of std I to X which were Desi and traditional in touch to connect the student to some of the sports played on the Soil of India. The student enjoyed the whole day sportively.
