Paper Bag Day (12.07.2021)

Paper bag day was celebrated on 12.07.2021. Different types of paper bags were displayed by writing slogans on them. Ms.Shipora sumitra spoke  on importance of paper bag and its uses. Paper bags were presented to the heads of the  Institution. The Principal  addressed the gathering and the event ended with the home message to use bio-degradable things.

Vanamahotsava Day (02-07-2021)

The school observed Vanamahotsava day on 2nd  of  July to contribute their bit to save the environment by taking a pledge to make the earth green and clean. Mrs. Sabiha Dharwad, the Incharge teacher, started the programme by welcoming the heads of the institution with a sapling. The celebration included a speech on the importance of the day and a quiz on Indoor Plants and their importance. Music teacher presented a song dedicated to the beautiful nature. The programme ended with vote of thanks.

International Yoga Day (21-06-2021)

Chinmaya Vidyalaya (CBSE) joined hands with the nation to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21st. The Physical instructors, Mr.Devendra H and Mr.Mallappa Lamani took the initiative and organized a small  programme. They threw light on the History of the Yoga and spoke about its importance in everyone’s life, especially during pandemic. Today where health has proved to be the most needed wealth, yoga has come up as a boon. It has infused an era of holistic health revolution in the country and whole world by whole world by highlighting the thought that in mind, the school Principals and teachers enthusiastically performed a few yogasanas  under the guidance of Physical Instructor and pledged to make it as part of their routine. The day ended with vote of thanks rendered by the Primary School Head mistress Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari N.

World Environment Day (05-06-2021)

World Environment day is celebrated on June 5th every year’s to encourage awareness of environmental protection.  This year too, the school was part of the global celebration of the day. Though it went out to be virtual, but still Mrs, Aruna K (teacher of Chimaya Vidyalaya,State wing) spoke about the importance of the day and very well explained this year theme, that is “Ecosystem Restoration”. She even threw light on the present day situation due to pandemic and its bitter impact, which has turned out to be disastrous one. She, through  her speech stressed on the role of every human being on their earth to contribute a bit in restoring back the balance in our ecosystem. Every member of Chinmaya family pledged to protect the nature by saving energy, water and reducing the use of plastics.

Principals of both wings added weightage to the day by taking the initiative in fulfilling the pledge.

Founder’s day (04-06-2021)

Every year, on 4th  June, Chinmaya Institution celebrated the Founder’s day to owe a debt of gratitude to those who sowed the seeds of the tree “ChinmayaVidyalaya” and nourished it to grow into a giant one. This year too,though virtually the school paid tribute to all its founders, specially to Dr. S.S.Gore who had the vision that led to the creation of this school way back in 1990.Today the school, from the day of its inception, has gone a long way on the path of success and stands as a bench mark in Hubballi city with the blessings of Pujya Gurudev. The school has received an overwhelming recognition  from the citizen of the city and is best known for imparting quality and value based education in keeping with tradition of Chinmaya Vision.

Republic day Celebration

Chinmaya Institutions celebrated the 72nd  republic day with pomp and patriotism. The management members, the heads of the institutions and all the teachers showed their unwillingness  to leave any stone unturned in making this event a memorable one. The President of  Chinmaya Institutions, Shri Girish Upadhyay unfurled the tri colour flag and gave a momentum to the programme. The entire school courtyard was responded in the shades of tri colour.

Th ceremony started with a spectacular march past displayed by the teachers of both the wings. It was followed by a short cultural programme which include a speech and a patriotic group song performed by the teachers.

The day also marked the distribution of prize to the winning teachers of sport day events.

Finally, the day came to an end with Presidential remark and Shanti mantra. 

International Yoga Day

Health is wealth peace of mind is happiness, yoga shows the way Swami Vishnudevananda

International Yoga Day was observed with great enthusiasm. Mr. Mallapp Lamani, our P.E. teacher gave a speech on the significance of Yoga Asanas. Out of the twelve asanas some were demonstrated and suryanamaskar was also performed. All the asanas open the energy channels and increases flexibility of strengthening the bones and circulatory system. Yoga helps one to become more aware of one’s body, mind and environment. Some of the important asanas are:

Sirsasana, Sarvangasana,Halasana, Matsyasana, Bhujangasana, Pascimottansana, Salabhasana, Dhanusasana, Kakasana etc.

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat

As art and culture plays a vital role in grooming personality and overall development to educate our children about our tradition and culture. We, the team of Chinmaya Vidyalaya takes immense pleasure to contribute in the programme of pairing of states and union territories as per “Ek Bharat  programme”. Students of our school have been motivated to greater extent and perform folk dance and songs as a part of this project.
