Independance Day 15/08/2020

 

74th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and fervour . On this occasion teachers displayed a wonderful March Past Parade,  an array of speeches, declamation  patriotic songs, and a mash – up dance. Prizes were distributed for the competitions held on the eve of Independence Day.

 

Techaers’ Day 05/09/2020

Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 5th September 2020 with all pomp and gaiety . Shri Dr Radhakrishnan’s contribution was remembered with due respect and devotion to the educational field. Debate competition was held for the the teachers in all three languages.In this pandemic the students tried to convey their gratitude to their respective teachers by a PPT presentation which was dispalyed for all the teachers during the celebration.

Mrs Rajani Tungal Principal of Chinmaya College was honoured for her service by the Management.

Rujula Khasnis our bonafide student was honoured by the management for securing State level 3rd rank in the SSLC examination 2019-20.

Adhikmasa Pooja

Adhika Masa also called as purushottama Masa which comes once in four years is a very auspicious month. Thirty three bhajans from dasa sahitya were sung on Thursday (24.9.20).Lakshmi  Pooja was performed with great devotion followed by the distribution of the prasada , bangles, betel leaf, flowers ….etc.

Krishna Janmashtami 12/08/2020

The festival was celebrated with all devotion and gaiety. Many melodoius bhajans were sung. The significance of JANAMASHTAMI and the teachings of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna was beautifully explained by Mr Shrinidhi  ( Our Sanskrit teacher) with the help of short stories. Few dances were also presented by the teachers followed by the pot breaking ceremony.

Seva Day

On 3rd August 2020, Aradhana/Seva Day was observed in remembrance of charity to the poor. Our management members and the Heads of Chinmaya Family represented the donation bags of rice, dal, oil and sugar made to Seva Sadan.

As charity begins at home, this value needs to be implemented by the students and staff alike. “To seethe one in the many is the casual vision of knowledge , to see the many in the one is the mission wisdom”.– Swami Chinmayanandaji.

 

Vanmahotsava 07/07/2020

Vanamahotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Teachers brought plastic bottles designed “Best out of waste” as pots for plants, some soil was added and small saplings of money plants and other creepers were put in and we decorated our corridors in the school.

 

Shri Satyanarayan Pooja 05/07/2020

On the auspicious day of Shri Satyanarayan Pooja i.e. 5thJuly 2020, teaching and non – teaching staff came together to seek the blessings of God, at Chinmaya College. It was held in the morning at 9.30 am. Like every year, the Management members, teaching and non teaching staff performed the Satyanarayan Pooja.After performing the Satyanarayan Pooja, bhajans were sung by  the teachers.All teaching and non teaching staff were called in to receive the Prasad arranged by the Management.

Saraswati Pooja 05/07/2020

The Academic year began with the blessings of Goddess of knowledge Goddess Saraswati. The teachers of the CBSE wing performed Saraswati Pooja with a great devotion on 5thJuly 2020 under the guidance of Smt. Jayashree Bhavikatti. Few Bhajans were presented and the Prasad was also distributed.The programme ended with Shanti  Mantra.

 

Gurupoornima 04/07/2020

Teachers performed Paduka Pooja and sang bhajans .108 flowers were offered to the 

Paduka , chanting Gurudev’s Shatanamavali . Live telecast of the pooja was sent to the children in the group and they performed Paduka pooja at their homes.

On the eve of Gururpoornima all the teachers geared up with various programmes and competitions.

Collage making –  based on Guru Parampara and Guru family lineage.

Bhajan competition: based on devotional saga of the Guru – shishya Parampara . Teachers participated in good numbers and brought out their best talent.

Doctor’s and CA’s Day 01/07/2020

 

Both Doctor’s Day and CA’s day was celebrated with great zeal in our school. During this pandemic, Doctors have shown great valour and concern to preserve humanity. Mr Girish Upadhyaya , our beloved President Sir was felicitated and honoured on this day.

 

Teacher’s Feedback: Doctor’s preserve the physical and mental health of the society and the CAs preserve the Wealth of the Society.
