Essay and Drawing competitions were held at Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries by MSME, Government of India.

The topic of Essay competition was Small scale industries, Agro based industries – prospects and problems.

The topic of Drawing competition was traditional arts of Karnataka.

The programme was nicely organised, lunch was provided. MSME President appriciated the students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya for their topic drawing and essays.

Our school students won 1^st  and 2^nd prizes and a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and Rs.7,500 respectively in essay competition

The students of Std X in accordance with management members and class teachers organised a wonderful farewell programme to bid good bye and wish good luck to the outgoing students of Std X for their future. The programme started by invoking the blessings of God and watering sapling which symbolized “the growth of success”. A few students and teachers shared their experiences they gathered throughout their school journey.

The highlight of the function was lighting the candles by the teachers and students which filled the whole scenario with bright and serene atmosphere followed by sweet song sung by all. The students were gifted with mementos as a token of love. The programme ended with Cultural Bonanza presented by Std IX.

“Mothers are one of the first indications of the sovereignty  of God in our lives”.

Mothers were invited in Chinmaya Vidyalaya(CBSE) for performing the matrupuja ceremony.

It was a seren atmosphere where the puja rituals were carried out under the guidance of Jayashree Tr. It was a very pamp and gay moment.

Parents mothers spoke on the event.They expressed their gratitude towards the Institutions. Even students, expressed their views, thanked their mothers and teachers for raising them wonderfully.

Management members were present to grace the occassion. Tambulam and sweets were distributed to the invitees and students.

The 71^st Republic Day was celebrated on January 26^th in the premises of Vidyalaya ground(CBSE). The event began at 8.00am with hoisting of National flag by the Chief guest Dr. Gurushantappa Yalagachin. The students of all the four houses marched in their colourful house uniforms rhythmically. Aditya Mallikarjun Shivalli was facilitated for his brave act as well as the social leaders and volunteers were also facilitated. The school echoed with patriotism as the children danced, enacted skits, sang patriotic songs.

The Chief guest in his address highlighted the significance of the day and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands.

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, maker of modern India, “National Youth Day” is celebrated on 12-01-2020 with great joy and enthusiasm. Swami Raghaveeramamdji of Rama Krishna Ashram, Hubballi graced the occasion with his gracious and holy presence.

Students of Std VI presented two skits based on the real life incidents of Swami Vivekananda.

The Administrator of Chinmaya Educational Institutions Shri, Vishwanath Ranade, Principal of CBSE wing Smt. Arundhati Naik and Smt. Usha Mokashi were also present.

The students of Std IV A, B, C visited the beautiful garden beside the school. They all sat there to meditate for sometime and also jogged to a certain distance. They observed the garden and saw the various shrubs, trees and also the cleanliness.

          This visit was to bring about awareness about beauty of the nature and its conservation.

Vishwa Manavata Diwas is celebrated on Sunday 29^th Dec in Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Std VIII, IX and X students participated and IX  and X students spoke about Rashtra Kavi Kuvepmu and his achievements. Songs written by Kuvempu were sung. Nadageete was sung by all the students and teachers programme concluded by chanting Shanti Mantra.

Geeta Jayanthi is a great day for all the Hindus. A day when Lord Krishna started advising Arjuna about his duties in the form of Bhagavatgeeta. It is celebrated in our Vidyalaya on 8^th December by chanting all the 18 chapters of Bhagavatgeeta, Different schools of Hubli city are invited to chant different chapters.

          On account of Geeta Jayanthi, Geeta Chanting competitions were conducted for Vidyalaya students. 18^th chapter was taken up for competition.

          Mono acting competition was held for Std III to V students (CBSE). Topic was given as the characters of Mahabharatha. Many students participated enthusiastically and presented very well.

          All the prizes were distributed on Geeta Jayanthi day. Geeta Jayanthi is also celebrated as “Tapovana Jayanthi” as it is the birthday of Swami Tapovan Maharaj who was the spiritual Guru of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji.

To enhance the creativity of the children a drawing competition was conducted in our school premises for std 1^st to 5^{th  .}All the children participated in the drawing competition with full enthusiasm and interest all the children enjoyed colouring the given picture with a smile on their faces.

Re-open Day 2019-2020
29 /05/ 19 – School reopened. It was the first day for the children who were coming from U.K.G to Std 1^st. They were given a warm welcome by the  teachers of Std 1^st . The class rooms were all well decorated with colourful papers, balloons etc. The children were welcomed inside the class – room in a traditional way with aarti and tika on their forehead. After sometime chocolates were distributed to the children. With this all the children were very happy  and they enjoyed their first day of school a lot.

  IT Fest 2019-20

NIIT conducted IT Fest 2019-20 on 19^th Nov 2019 in our school premises. Mr.Ashish from Regional office, Bangalore conducted the quiz. The children enjoyed the quiz and gained a lot of knowledge. The result of the quiz is as below.

Inaugeral ceremony of “chinmaya Spoorti”, the annual sports meet of Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Chinmaya English Primary School 2019-20 was held on 23^rd Nov 2019 at CBSE school ground. Shri. M.G. Arumugam, Chief office superitendant, S.W.Rly Hubballi, Cricket Coach, Karnataka State Cricket academy, was the chief guest.Children participated in the  housewise marchpast competition and different displays with great pamp. The chief guest appreciated the discipline found among the students and encouraged everyone to participate in sports activity without thinking about the consequences.
