Hindi Day Celebration 14-09-1019

Chinmaya CBSE celebrated Hindi day with great pamp, highlighting the importance of National language among the students. The celebration went on for a week under which many competitions were conducted for the students and many took part with great interest. A few among them succeeded in winning prize.

          The Chief guest of the programme, Smt. Jayashree Hiremath graced the occasion with her presence and appreciated the zeal of the teachers and students, the way they organized the programme And spoke about the importance of the language.

          The programme went on well with co-operate of all the teachers and the school principal with the healthy support of the school Management.

Children’s Day Celebration 2019

Chinmaya Vidyalaya celebrated children’s Day with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. All the children came to school beautifully dressed in coloured attire.

There was a short entertainment program organized by graceful moms for the children. “The Cartoon characters” entertained the children by their performance. After that our teachers organized a cultural programme with songs and dances. Over all the children had a great time. Sweets were distributed to the children. The program concluded with Shanti mantra.

64th Karnataka Rajyotsava Programme 2019

Every year Karnataka Rajyotsava is celebrated in Chinmaya Vidyalaya with great enthusiasm. The programme started on time. Popular folk artist , National award winner Dr. Ramu Mulagi was our honourable Chief guest. The programme started with prayer. Children of both the wings(CBSE and State) participated with enthusiasm in the cultural programme and made the programme a beautiful and successful one.

Veera Sangolli Rayanna drama attracted the audience.

On the eve of Rajyotsava many competitions were held. Our honourable Chief guest distributed the prizes to the winners of the various competitions.

Our honourable Chief guest appreciated the cilututal programme and gave the important information about formation of our state and also people involved it. He also told about the discussion which took place in town hall which was related to the formation of our state. He alsogave information about the folk art and sang beautiful folk songs like gi gi pada, Jogula Hadu. Children were delighted and also understood about the folk art.

The programme ended by distributing sweets to all our beloved children.

The programme was a huge success.

 

 

Interschool pick and speak competition

Interschool pick and speak competition was conducted in Chinmay Vidyalaya for Preprimary section on 02/11/2019. Nearly ten school children were participated.This an opportunity for small kids to improve their speaking skills. 1st prize was bagged by Rotary public school, Adarsh nagar. Second place to Smt.Vimala Kulkarni memorial   school. 3rd   place to Rotary public school. Smt. Vimala Kulkarni memorial school got Rolling up.

INSPECTION CHINMAYA MISSION

Inspection was conducted by Mrs. Rajini Gouri Shankar, eminent member of the Education department. Madam participated in all the Programmes arranged by the school management, staff and students. She observed most of the classes taken both the days- Pre-primary, primary and Secondary sections respectively. A cultural  programme was conducted for madam on 18/09/2019 in the afternoon section. Madam appreciated classical music, dance, skit, folk songs and classical songs, performed by the students and teachers alike. She was overwhelmed by the hospitality shown by the school management and students. Post Inspection was held on 19/09/2019 for the faculty members. Madam presented her feedback to the teachers and appreciated all our hard work. She also emphasized on making the students more  bold, out spoken and creative.

Motivational Talk by Pujya Swami Aparajitananda

Pujya Swami Aparajitanandaji (an electronic engineer) by profession gave a motivational talk addressing the students of grades VIII, IX and X. He came down to the level of the students and presented an interactive session students participated actively and answered Swamiji’s presented “Meditation” as to look within under category – a) observe b) Detect c) Eliminate  d) Substitute and e) Strengthen followed by an FIR test which means frequency, Intensity and Recovery. He also enhanced his talk with throwing light on “Six Laws” to be followed by students. The students and teachers benefited a lot and were inspired by Pujya Swamiji’s Talk.

Mahatma Gandhi/Shastri Jayanthi

2nd October 2019 was celebrated as Gandhiji and Shastriji Jayanthi. This year also coincides with the 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji. A call was given by our PM to sheen the single use of plastic on the Independence Day which was to be brought into practice from 2nd October.

            Bapu’s favourite Bhajans were sung by teachers and this was followed by instrument music(sitar). Students of Std IV presented a skit on “Single-use of plastic”.

            Smt.Amruta and Smt. Kavya spoke on Gandhiji and Shastriji respectively. Vote of thanks was proposed by Smt.Waheeda. Programme was concluded with Shanti Mantra.Smt. Anjali was the MOOC for the programme.

Educational Trip

On 26th of August, students of  class 6th visited chandramouleshwara temple. It was a good educational trip children got to know about the archeological site. This temple was build 900 years age Lord Shiva is the deity of the temple. The temple has marvelous sculptures. Due to Archeological importance the temple was preserved under the Archeological survey of India under “Act 1958 on Ancient monuments & Archeological site. Chalukyas built this temple in 11th & 12th century. Chalukya wanted to boast their architectural splendidness & showcase their power & wealth to their enemies. The temple was built over night. The temple is made of red stones while other half is made of green stones while other half is made of green stone. Children got to know about this Historical site & its importance in Indian History.

Social Science Hub”

A resourceful person in Social Science Mr Mahadev from Leelavathi Charanthimath Public School, Dharwad conducted a meeting ( Social Science Hub). The Social Science Hub comprised of 5 schools. The following points were discussed.

  • Group Discussion and Debates to be conducted to make the subject more interesting.
  • Std X new syllabus 2019-20 and changes in the question paper pattern was discussed.
  • Weaker students should be given more importance and separate assignments to be given.
  • For Std X – projects should be given on consumer awareness and for Std IX project should be given on Disaster management.
