Founder’s Day is celebrated every year in the fond memory of Late Shri S.S. Gore, who sowed the seeds of educating children through CHINMAYA VIDYALAYA in the year 1990.Besides being a doctor he had interest in sports, cultural, social and educational activities. He had many feathers in his cap.He was the founder member of Hubli Sports club.The Managing Trustee of Youth Welfare Trust, Hubli.A member of Hubli Art circle.Managing Trustee in the academy of performing Arts, Hubli. The Managing Trustee of “Chinmaya Seva Samiti Trust”. Late Shri Gore’s endeavor has given us CBSE, Chinmaya PU college for Science, Commerce and also Chinmaya Degree college for Commerce. Chinmaya Chetana was also a great gift from him where ladies ( 17 yrs – 35 yrs) pursue nursing course.

World Environment Day is celebrated world wide every year on 5th June. In our school it was celebrated on 8th of June in the school premises to encourage and bring awareness among the children for the protection of our environment. Our little tiny tots of Std I and II were dressed up like fruits, flowers , vegetables and trees, some students spoke on the topic of air pollution and importance of plants and trees. Other students had brought different kinds of saplings to the school. At the end of the programme there was a photo session with the students, Headmistress and in charge teachers.
Skill Development Programme
The School management had arranged for a small workshop on 28/05/2019 from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm with an aim to provide intense training for teachers to enhance their teaching skills for the coming academic year.The resource person Miss Priya Kulkarni handles communication skills and personality development programme for the people of various fields. She came out with worthy and wonderful ideas for teachers to develop their teaching skills and included innovative ideas for the same.
On the auspicious day of Shri Satyanarayan Puja i.e. 25th May 2019, teaching and non – teaching staff came together to seek the blessings of God, at Chinmaya English Primary School. It was held in the morning at 9.30 am. Like every year, the Management members, teaching and non teaching staff performed the Satyanarayan Puja. After performing the Satyanarayan Puja, bhajans were sung by the teachers. The ritual was graced with the presence of Pujya Swami Brahmanandaji , Pujya Swami Ramatmanandji, Pujya Swami Krutatmanandaji. All teaching and non teaching staff were called in to receive the Maha Prasad arranged by the Management.
We celebrated 70th republic day on 26th January 2019. The flag was hoisted by the Chief guest by Shri. Prabhu Surin, Police Inspector, Keshwapur, Hubballi with great pride and national anthem was sung followed by march past from our children of all the four houses. Children of all the four houses . Children expressed their views by giving a speech in kannada, Hindi and reading of the preamble. Felicitation of leaders and volunteers also done followed by the grand display of the skating by our school children.
Objective : Intellectual, Mental and IT skills Develpment
NIIT nGuru, Bangalore as every year this year also conducted IT Quiz for class VIth to Xth std. Firstly elimination round was taken for the students who were interested in Quiz. And as per their performance in elimination round students were selected and put in two major category Junior and Senior respectively. wherein 3 Groups were made with 3 students each in both the categories. Mr Ashish IT mentor, Bangalore was host of the quiz.

Outcome – Students thoroughly enjoyed the different difficult levels of the quiz and gained lot of information about present IT sector. Winners received Gold medals, Runners up with Silver Medals and Third Place with Bronze Medals and certificates respectively .

Best Boy Pratham giving speech
Objective : To bid farewell to the outgoing Xth Batch ( Wishing Good Luck For their Exam and Future Endeavors).
The Program Started with Invocation song followed by Vidyalaya Song. Chief Guest Shri Shivendra K Gupta was honored by presenting a bouquet. Speech was given by one of the class teacher of Xth Std. The best Boy Pratham Kulburgi and best girl Gayatri S of the year 2018-19. Games were conducted by IXth std for their seniors and prizes were distributed. The chief guest addressed the students to be helpful and generous and guided them for their future.
Outcome : With the blessings of Pujya Gurudev, encouraged support of the management and the flawless efforts of the IXth std teachers and students farewell programme was grand success.

Objective : To build competence among teachers dealing with Social Science
The academic and training branch of CBSE, had organised a two days workshop. Nearly 65 teachers from various schools attended the workshop where they got opportunity to develop their competence and capacity in handling social science especially in high school.They also guided the teachers in following the important methods of assessment & periodic of the same.
Outcome : The workshop proved to b fruitful as it enriched the various prospectus of teaching Social Science.

Objective : To conduct & evaluate CBSE Examination.
CBSE, Chennai conducted this workshop for the first time in North-Karnataka Zone. It was chaired by Mrs. Arunima Mujumdar. The host school was Lovedate School, Belgaum. It was basically to train the teaching faculty to cope up with the upcoming Board Examination 2019 Evaluation Pattern was discussed in detail by presenting PPT .
Outcome : The programme is that the teachers of all 3 zones gained knowledge about the marking Scheme and evaluation method of the board.
Objective : To Develop the scientific skills, mental & intellectual Development.
Senior and Junior Science Quiz was conducted at Chinmaya Vidyalaya from class VIth to IXth std. The event witnessed enthusiastic preparation & participation.
