International Yoga day was celebrated on 21^st June. The students of Std V and Std X displayed  asanas and the meaning of asanas was also explained. The function was attended by the Principal, Headmistress and our Administrator, Mr Vishwanath Ranade opined that practice of YOGA Keeps ROGA at bay. He further stressed the importance of it and also lauded the PM’s initative.

The Indians had gifted this practice to the world but was  forgotten lot a long some time. But, now the whole world has joined hands to perform it to stay healthy. The program concluded with a prayer.

On 5^th of June, world Environment Day was celebrated by the primary section. Some of the students spoke about the various ways to reduce pollution. The theme for this year’s Environment day  is “Beat the plastic pollution”.

Some students also donated saplings to the school to make the surroundings greener. The program was attended by the heads of both the sections.

Founder’s Day

Founder’s Day was celebrated on 4^th June in the memory of Dr. S. S. Gore who sowed the seeds of educating children through Chinmaya Vidyalaya in the year 1990. The Vidyalayas have now grown into wonderful centers of education.

On this day we remember Dr.S.S.Gore and express our heartfelt gratitude for providing us with all the opportunity to learn and work in such a wonderful school.

To promote the importance of the National language and to spread the sweetness of the language all around Hindi saptaha was celebrated in Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Different activities were conducted for the various classes like poem writing, reciting, spelling test, singing etc.

A theme based Hindi drama was presented on Hindi day by the students of std X . The school President shri Girish Upadhyay, administrator shri Vishwanath Ranade, Principals of both the sections graced the occasion.

The program went on well under the guidance of Smt Nidhi N and all hindi teachers.

Teachers Day Celebration 5.9.2017

       Teaching is a profession which teaches all other professions. The day was gracefully celebrated in Chinmaya Vidyalaya. An eminent personality prof C.C.Dixit a philanthropist & a distinguished figure was the Chief Guest. Two teachers from other schools were honoured for their selfless service in the field of Education.Useful gifts were given to the teachers.

   Some motivational videos were shared. The School President Shri Girish Upadhyay presided over the function, The heads of all the Chinmaya Prestigious Educational Institutions were present. The programme was followed by a delicious dinner.

Culture,Dress and Food Fest

   An unique exhibition depicting the culture, dress and food of different states of India was on 31.8.2017 by the III std students. It was really very colourful and at the same time tasty delicacies of different states were a added attraction.  The speeches and description given by the students were greatly appreciated by all. 

   The school President  Shri Girish Upadhyay, the Administrator Shri Vishwanath Ranade graced the occasion with their presence and inspiring words.

Interschool Science Exhibition for Teachers

    Interschool Science Exhibition for Teachers was conducted on 12.8.2017 in which 14 schools participated enthusiastically. It was a model making competition with the them “Save Water” or “Water as a Resource”.This was a unique program where teachers got a rare opportunity to exhibit their talents who otherwise are stuck in the daily routine. Shri  Gangadhar Patil, Shri Krishna Mandala and Smt Jayashri Pujari were the judges. Cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners. The prize winning schools are as follows

Social, Science, and Mathematics Quiz 

      To motivate the students to develop social, mathematics and scientific temperament quizes were conducted for the classes VIII, IX, and X. The process started with the written elimination rounds.

            Each team comprising of the students from VIII, IX and X put up their wholehearted effort and presented their skills and knowledge.

The added attraction in the science quiz was the activity based round where in the students got some materials to prove a scientific concept. This round was judged by the school principal smt Arundhati Naik.
