World Environment Day (06-06-2022)

The school, joined the world, to celebrate the world environment day on 6th June 2022 in order to bring awareness among the students to be concerned towards the depleting environmental condition. The students of Standard X along that of 2nd and 5th presented a few activities revolving around the theme “Only one earth”. It included a speech on the importance of the day, a song on “Save the world” and planning of saplings by the heads of the Institution. The day ended with the remarks of the principal who appreciated the students for bringing an awareness among all present in the school.

 

Elections for School parliament (04.06.2022)

India being the largest democratic country in the world upholds the principle of Universal adult franchise by conducting elections periodically. Hence to fulfil the objectives of the same, the school also conducts elections every year to choose the school representatives. The students of Std X take part in this election by contesting for various post and get a first-hand experience of it. It even includes choosing of symbols, campaigning and voting which is by the students of Std VI to X. This year too elections were conducted on June 4th 2022 but differently as it went digitally. The student casted their valuable vote to their favorite content and proved being responsible in performing their duty. The results of the elections were declared on 06.06.2022 and the winners were entitled with the portfolios. The overall process of the election was come out successfully by the P.E. masters and computer teachers who worked hard to make it successful.

Founder’s Day (04.06.2022)

The school observed the founder’s day on 4th Of June like every year, by paying regards to those eminent figures who played important role in the laying the foundation of our school Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Swad, A School with a difference. The real mind behind the starting of this school was Late Dr.S.S.Gore who vision and mission of spreading value based education came to be true with the strength of 26 students and one teacher and today it has reached to the strength of 3000 students and more than 200 teachers. Today he may not be there to celebrate the glory of his dream but every chinmitee has put one’s head and soul to nurture his sown seed to became a banyan tree.

Workshop for teachers (19.05.2022)

 

The school management arranged a day’s workshop for all the faculty members of the Chinmaya institutions to enhance their teaching strategies for coming academic year. The workshop was conducted by eminent person resource person invited by the school and also by a few members of the management. There were five sessions each of one hour with a lunch break. The sessions and resource person who was organized it was are as follows:

The workshop greatly expanded the understanding of teacher’s mindfulness and gave them the framework to upgrade their teaching strategies in day to day work. It also helped teachers to uplift themselves with positive thoughts and growing mind set.

Shri Satyanarayana Puja(16.05.2022)

The school started its new academic year 2022-23 by performing Shri. Satyanarayana Pooja in the premises of CBSE wing. The needed arrangements were made by the management on 16th May and every member of the Chinmaya institution took part in this auspicious occasion which was lead Shri. Shrinidhi K. The Pooja was performed by the same of the senior teachers and everyone seeked the blessings of God. After Pooja the Maha Prasad was arranged by the management for all.

Saraswati Puja 11.04.2022

The school arranged for a Saraswati pooja on 11th of April for the outgoing students of  Std X. The pooja was performed by the students with complete devotion under the guidance of Smt. Jayashree Bhavakatti. Everyone present there offered their prayers and paid their respect to the Goddess of knowledge , Maa Saraswati and seeked her  blessings for the better performance in the upcoming exams of  CBSE Board. Pooja was concluded with a short cultural programme and prasad distribution.

Farewell for Stars 10th batch (20-11-2022)

A grand farewell was hosted by the management and teachers for the outgoing students of Std 10th of the academic year 2021-22 on Saturday 12th March 2022 in the school premises.

The programmed commenced at 6.15pm by welcoming the students with a token of gratitude is red rose. Once they settled down, the evening took its momentum by invoking the blessings of Pujya Swami Chinmanandaji and watering the plant as a symbol of Nature Conservation. This was followed by the speeches rendered by a few teachers and students who shared their memories of school life  and expressed their gratitude towards teachers.

The evening got brightened on the school felicitated the Best boy and Girl for the year 2021-22 followed by Best Sportsperson, with a trophy.

The Chief guest for the day Shri. Anand Mangoli , in his speech , emphasized on the values the school had inculcated in the students which they must carry with them where ever they go. He even guided them to be focused on their future planning and take proper and useful road that revolves around their choice and interest  and leads to their destination.

The day was a memorable are both for the outgoing batch and the teachers. It was filled with lot of emotions and  hostalgia as students remembered their 10years of journey spent in school.

The evening came to an end by schooling the delivery arranged for all present to the occasion.

Matru Puja (19-02-2022)

Matha, Pitha, Guru, Deivam is a very popular adage is the Sanskrit language which means when it comes to pay respect, ‘Mother’ is throne who comes first , then the rest and worshiped as Goddess.

On 19th Feb 2022, students of Std X and their mothers had assembled at the Chinmaya Vidyalaya CBSE to take part in Matru Puja, with great reverence.

Chinmaya School started this culture to instill moral values in the minds of children and to faster love and respect towards mother. Today this culture has how became habitation and followed every year.

The traditional ceremony started at 6.30 p.m. in the presence of Pujya Swami Krutatmanandaji, the resident acharya of Chinmaya Mission Hubballi. The children washed feet of their mothers, applied Chandana and Kumkum and offered flowers. They seeked the blessings of their mother by worshipping and feeding sweets to them.

The most promising moment of the day was taking oath by the children always to take care of their parents and be loyal and obedient to them till the end.

Pujya Swamiji, in his ashirvachana, advised them to value the unconditional love of their parent and told them to be thankful to them for  everything they do.

The programme ended with Shanti Mantra and Prasad distribution.

National Science Day (28-02-2022)

It is truely said that ‘Science is simply the word we use to describe a method of organizing our curiosity’. Like every year, this year to National Science day was celebrated on 28th Feb, to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Nobel Prize Winning Indian Physicist, Sir C.V. Raman. On the eve of this celebration many competitions were conducted for the students from Std VI to Std X which included Science Rangoli and model making, quiz and seminars. The most highlighted are was the Interschool debate competition based on Scientific temperament. Students from various schools participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and displayed their speaking skills and critical thinking.

On actual day of celebration i.e. on 28th  Feb, the science teachers welcomed the morning with creative and melodious Science song by memorizing the onlookers followed by a few speeches and presentation. The winners of all the competitions were rewarded with prizes on the same day.

The fruitful and well planned celebration concluded with a menage that ” the science is a way of thinking, we should not distort it.

As a tribute to Lata Mangeshkarji

India lost its most iconic voice on February 6th, when the legendary singer and Bharat Ratna, the nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last. The nation felt an end of an era and mourned  her death. Even Chinmaya English Primary School remembered her and her contribution to the field of musical world, nearly for 7 decades. The School observed two minutes silence on a tribute to the legendary. Mrs. Shivali P, one of the faculty member, sang one of her most remembered and iconic patriotic song “ yeh mere vatan ke logo” which moved the hearts and soul of everyone present there.

               Though she may have passed on, but her voice will echo in the mind and heart of each Indian, forever.
