Debate Competition(14/01/2022)

An inter house debate competition was held in our school premises on account of “National Youth Day”. The competition gave a platform to the students to express their thoughts and opinions in an articulate manner. There were three rounds of the selection that is elimination , semifinals and final. The speakers of class IX and X of all four houses spoke eloquently on the topic, they picked out of the given one.

               The competition was a Kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts, ideas and perspectives that definitely enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the statements among students who participated and also the audience.

               Every debater performed well and made a great impact on the mind and heart of each and everyone present there through their logics and reasons.

               The winners of the competition were  Kartik Revankar and Satwik Hegde and Runners up were  Md. Aban  and Priya Dalbanjan both from Std X.  Sonal Patil of Std IX was selected as the best speaker.

Republic Day Celebration (26-01-2022)

All the family members of the Chinmaya Institutions, Hubballi gather under one roof and rejoiced in the glory of India on its 73rd Republic Day celebration by saluting and honouring the great minds of our nation who framed our constitution. Today’s special Day was marked with a wonderful presentation of children’s March past and followed by patriotic song and skit. But the most unique and highlight of all of the day was formation of India map by all the teachers of the Institution in accordance with the song ‘Bharat Mera Anokha Rag Hai’ written by Shri. Javed Akhtar and music composed by Shri. Zakir Hussein which was sung by the school choir. The formation conveyed the message that everyone who is born in this land of mother India has only one identity, We all are Indians. We wish you all a very happy and glorious Republic Day.

Eye Check Up Camp (13/01/2022 and 14/01/2022)

The eyes are the most sensitive organs of the body and are considered to be one of the most important senses. Despite this taking good care of our eyes is often ignored, resulting in many people losing their sight.

Hence visual tests were conducted for the students and teachers of our school. Each one was asked to read out the fonts of different sizes, while covering one at a time.

Few of them who needed extra treatment were asked to contact an ophthalmologist.

Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi/ National Youth Day (12-01-2022)

The programme began with a Welcome Speech using the Sanskrit quote meaning “Let the entire world be happy”. The students of Std V presented a melodious song. The prize winner presented a speech on the life of Swami Vivekananda. The students of VII, dressed as Swami Vivekananda delivered the famous speech of Swami Vivekananda at the World’s Parliament of Religions, Chicago of 1893. The teachers of Std VII conducted a house-wise Quiz Competition for the students of Std VIII. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the various competitions conducted on account of Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi. The programme was concluded with the Vote of Thanks.

Constitution Day (26-11-2021)

Constitution Day, also known as “SamvidhanDiwas” is celebrated in our country on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the constitution to highlight and reiterate the values and principles enriched in the constitution.

The occasion was celebrated in the school premises in all its solemnity. The celebration was marked with a speech on the ‘The making of the constitution by Amogh S.K of Std VII. It took us on a journey of our constitution from the day of its inception  to its present day. It was followed by songs on Preamble and Samvidhan. A small skit was also performed by the students depicting Fundamental duties and salient features ofIndian Constitution.

At the culmination, the programme ended with our Principal’s addressing to the gathering.

On the whole the programme was applauded and appreciated by all.

National Mathematics Day( 22-12-2021)

Simplification is not only valid in Maths, it teaches us to simplify the complexities of life, learn maths in the best way right from the word go.

With the encouragement and support from the School management and teachers. The student of Std X celebrated National Mathematical day with great enthusiasm. Numerous educational event were organized as the eve of the celebration, which included Quiz, formula chart, essay writing and collage making. Students from Standard VI to X took active part and enjoyed it.

The winners of each competitions were rewarded with prizes and certificate.

On the whole the celebration succeeded in developing curiocity and extent towards the subject. The student were made to realize that maths can be one of the most fun loving subject.

The Management members and heads of institution appreciated the teachers and students for organizing the celebration in a remarkable way.

Karnataka Rajyotsava (01-11-2021)

1st November has a special place in the hearts of every Kannadiga as its in the date as which of Karnataka State came into existence and this day it is celebrated on a festive way by the whole state.

This year celebration was carried out in the full swing by singing a few important Kannada songs which highlighted the pride and glory of Karnataka through its lyrics. The Chief Guest Master M.P. Srinivas shared his views and thought regarding the day’s importance and richness of Kannada literature and its culture. He being and alumini of school was felicitatedon the day as he cleared his UPSC exam and made his school and teachers to be proud of him. Even the students elected as the school and home representatives were honoured with badges on the same day.

Teachers’ Day Celebration(05-09-2021)

“God understood our thirst for knowledge and our need to be led by someone wiser whose heart is filled with compassion, encouragement and patience, so he created teachers”. A special programme for the teachers was organized by Chinmaya College staff under the guidence of School management by following Covid regulations. The event was attended by the Guest Shri.H. A. Hadagali (HOD of Kannada Department, JSS college, Dharwad) who in his address appreciated the teachers for their exceptional hard work even during the pandemic. The programme came to an end with vote of thanks and Shanti mantra.

Independence Day Celebration(15-08-2021)

Today, India enters its 75th year of independence, with high expectations and determinations to achieve progress. In this memorable year of Amrit Mahotsava of Independence, India draws inspiration from its glorious past and walks toward the future to emerg as VIshwa Guru. With this vision of building a new Atmanirbhar Bharat, in his eyes, honourable P.M. Shri. Narendra Modi has involved every Indian to be part of this year’s celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Hence, to commemorate this monumental occassion, the chinmaya Institution gathered under one roof to celebrate the day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The programme started with hoisting of tricolour flag and singing the National Anthem. It is – followed by a short cultural programme which included speeches and patriotic songs presented by the teachers. The celebration upheld the spirit of patriotic feeling in every heart present for the occassion. The management members, heads of the Institution and all the teachers felt elevated to be part of the celebration of Amrit Mahotsav. The ceremony ended with Vote of thanks and Shanti Mantra.

Gurupurnima celebration (24.07.2021)

The auspicious occassion of Gurupurnima was celebrated in Chinmaya Dhama, Hubballi on 24th   July, with full devotion. The day highlighted the Indian rich cultural heritage of “The Guru shishsya parampara” to make the students understand the importance of Guru in their lives.  The programme started with invocation song followed by Paduka pooja and Gurubhajans performed by the teachers of Chiinmaya Institution. The teachers of CBSE group presented skits based on the life history of Pujya Gurudev Swami.Chinmayanandaji. The whole programme  was aired live on YTUBE to make the students also to be part of the celebration and understand its importance. The whole programme went on smoothly under the able guidance of Pujya Swami Krutatmanandaji , the Resident acharya of Hubballi.
