Visit to Chandramouleshwar temple

The students of Std VI were taken to a study trip to Chandramouleshwar temple. This monument is declared as the monument of National Importance by Archaeological Survey of India.It is 900yr old templeconstructed during thr reign of Chalukyas. There are two lingas in the temple one of which is Chaturmukhi. The temple has sculputured walls and pillars of black granite.

              Children really enjoyed the visit and at the same time felt proud of such a unique architecture.

Village Visit by Std X

Students of Std X were taken to a village Sulla, nearly 6 Km from the school. Students observed the fields of green grams, groundnut, fruits and gooseberry. They even tried their hands on ploughing the field and came to know the nature of the work. 

                   Various sapplings were grown to considerable heights. They also saw cattle sheds, temples and also storage machines in which milk supplied by the villagers is stored and later taken to Dharwad Milk Federation.

 Children were very eager to know the village life and were happy during their visit.

Guru Poornima and Vyasa Poornima

Guru Poornima and Vyasa Poornima was jointly celebrated in a very traditional way  in  Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vivekanand Colony.The School wore a festive look. Students of Std X performed the pooja and offered their gratitude towards the Guru ,one who removes the darkness of ignorance with the light of knowledge.

Pujya swami Krutatmanandji was the chief guest for the occasion who guided the students to be on the right path and prosper in their lives. Some Guru Bhajans were sung and the children spoke about the importance of Guru and also about Vyasa maharshi. The school administrator Shri Vishwanath Ranade, Principals of all the wings  and  teachers graced the occasion.The whole program went on well under the guidance of Smt Vandana Katti.

Vigyana Anveshana 2017

Vigyana Anveshana, the prestigious Science programme was inaugurated for the academic year 2017-18 on saturday i.e 1.7.2017. The programme begun with a prayer song by kum Yashasvini. Mrs Vinuta Kulkarni anchored the program. Mrs Mamtha G gave a brief history of the program. The school Principal and also the director of Vigyana Anveshana Smt Arundhati Naik spoke about the program and also about the rules and regulations.

Mrs Vinuta K took a class on Vedic Mathematics. Then the students  were divided into two batches consisting of thirty each.

Investiture Ceremony

Chinmaya Vidyalaya jointly celebrated Investiture Ceremony on 8.7.2017 i.e saturday. The programme began with the prayer song followed by vidyalaya song. Shri V.H.Patil an eminent personality was the chief guest for the day. The batches were distributed to all the leaders . The oath was also administered by the CG. He spoke about the discipline in one’s life and also advised the children to study well and be disciplined in every walk of  life. The School President, Administrator, Principals were present.The programme went on well under the guidance of Smt Gayatri Patil.

Doctor’s Day 2017

Doctors day was celebrated in the school  on 1st of July 2017 by inviting Dr Mukta Gudi, a dentist. She explained to the students about the following things

  • Structure of the teeth
  • Care of the teeth
  • Dental check-up

 The program went on well under the guidance of Mrs Anjali.Kulkarni

Tejomayanandji’s Birthday

Chinmaya Vidyalaya (CBSE) wing celebrated Guruji’s Birthday on 31.6.2017 in a simple yet effective manner. Birthday card making competition was conducted for the students of std III. Gaurav of std IX spoke on the life and contributions of Guruji. Principal Smt Arundhati Naik also spoke about the life of Guruji on the occassion.

We all wished our beloved Guruji a very happy and healthy life through the Birthday song written and composed by Guruji himself.

School Elections 2017

School Elections

The elections for the post of Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Sports minister etc were conducted in Chinmaya English Primary School on 23.6.17(Friday).The students from VI to X casted their valuable votes. The school President shri Girish Upadhyay, the Admistrator shri Vishwanath Ranade, the Principal Arundhati Naik inaugurated the election process. The whole election process and counting under the guidance of all the PE teachers .

International Yoga Day

International yoga Day

The International Yoga Day was celebrated in Chinmaya English Primary School on 21.6.2017 in a very effective  manner. The students of Std X performed various asanas whose benefits were also told at the same time. Shri Vinayak Talgeri , a Yoga instructor was the chief guest  for the event.He spoke about the importance of practicing yoga everyday and also praised our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for making yoga very popular. He also gave some guidelines for the students for the fruitful results in the examinations. It included concentration, memory and practice.The school administrator Shri Vishwanath Ranade, the Principal Smt Arundhati Naik, and primary Headmistress Smt Usha Mokashi were also present.The program went on very successfully under the guidance of all PE teachers.

The programme began with the welcome song. Snehal and Vatsal Kumar of Std IV anchored the formal part. Mrs Neeta Hegde, the primary in-charge presented the annual report which was followed by the introduction of the chief guests by Aditya Huralikoppi and Satwik Hegde. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest advised the children to work hard and make their dreams come true. Sanjana Kubihal proposed the vote of thanks.
The mega cultural event followed thereafter. This part of the evening was successfully hosted by Riya Meti, Priyanka Mundargi, Pratiksha Sunkapur, Srujana Kenduli, Ankit Bembalgi, Akshay S, Amogh Herale, Tapasya Prabhu and Vaishnavi Kabbe. It was a mesmerizing function which took us to the milky way. Everyone applauded the performance of little ones. The tableau “Saptarshi” made the audience to bow down in reverence. All the dances were choreographed by Mrs Geeta Kayasta and Mrs Surekhs Sabade. All the songs were guided by Mrs Mookambika Bhat.The programme was concluded with the national song.
