Saraswathi Pooja

The new academic year 2023-24 commenced with the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.To know that Goddess Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge. Saraswati pooja was arranged on March 9th 2023 for the students of Std IX and X.


Doctor’s Day and CA Day (01-07-2022)

Doctor’s day and CA Day was observed on 01.07.2022 inhe school under the guidance of the incharge  teacher’s the students carried out the MOC, introduction of the guests and vote ofthanks. The guests of the day were:

  3. C A KR Shobhana     and   4. C A Sweekruti Pai

                                          All were the alumni of our institute.

National Unity Day(31-10-2022)

“Alone we are a drop, but in a team we form an ocean”

National Unity day is celebrated on 31st October. The day markes the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who had a major role in the political integration of India ‘Run for Unity’ was organized by Chinmaya School (CBSE) in which students of Std VIII and IX participated with great enthusiasm and vigour. They ran through the streets around the school thus spreading the message of ‘Unity in Diversity’.

Social Science Quiz (29-07-2022)

‘Knowledge has a beginning but no end’

To imbibe the feeling of competitive spirit among students, the social department organized an Inter house quiz competition was conducted on 29th July 2022. The students from Std VIII to X were selected to represent their houses. Every team has participated enthusiastically and gave a tough competition to each other. The Vyasa  house stood out as the winners. The quiz comprised of 8 rounds. Each round saw a brilliant performance by the participants who rapidly answered the questions. Even the audience where thrilled and actively participated in their round too.  The Management and Principals applauded the teachers and students to showcase such an enriching competition.

Republic Day Celebration (26-01-2022)

All the family members of the Chinmaya Institutions, Hubballi gather under one roof and rejoiced in the glory of India on its 73rd Republic Day celebration by saluting and honouring the great minds of our nation who framed our constitution. Today’s special Day was marked with a wonderful presentation of children’s March past and followed by patriotic song and skit. But the most unique and highlight of all of the day was formation of India map by all the teachers of the Institution in accordance with the song ‘Bharat Mera Anokha Rag Hai’ written by Shri. Javed Akhtar and music composed by Shri. Zakir Hussein which was sung by the school choir. The formation conveyed the message that everyone who is born in this land of mother India has only one identity, We all are Indians. We wish you all a very happy and glorious Republic Day.

Gurupurnima celebration (24.07.2021)

The auspicious occassion of Gurupurnima was celebrated in Chinmaya Dhama, Hubballi on 24th   July, with full devotion. The day highlighted the Indian rich cultural heritage of “The Guru shishsya parampara” to make the students understand the importance of Guru in their lives.  The programme started with invocation song followed by Paduka pooja and Gurubhajans performed by the teachers of Chiinmaya Institution. The teachers of CBSE group presented skits based on the life history of Pujya Gurudev Swami.Chinmayanandaji. The whole programme  was aired live on YTUBE to make the students also to be part of the celebration and understand its importance. The whole programme went on smoothly under the able guidance of Pujya Swami Krutatmanandaji , the Resident acharya of Hubballi.

Sanskrit Day (03/08/2020)

Sanskrit day is an annual event focused around the ancient Indian language. It aims at its revival and maintenance. It is celebrated on shravanpoornima. It is believed to have originated 3500years ago.

It is the mother of all Indian languages, most computer friendly language. Sanskrit is the window to Indias grand cultural heritage.

A speech on importance of S.K was presented in the assembly. Few simple words and sentences were also taught.

 

INSPECTION CHINMAYA MISSION

Inspection was conducted by Mrs. Rajini Gouri Shankar, eminent member of the Education department. Madam participated in all the Programmes arranged by the school management, staff and students. She observed most of the classes taken both the days- Pre-primary, primary and Secondary sections respectively. A cultural  programme was conducted for madam on 18/09/2019 in the afternoon section. Madam appreciated classical music, dance, skit, folk songs and classical songs, performed by the students and teachers alike. She was overwhelmed by the hospitality shown by the school management and students. Post Inspection was held on 19/09/2019 for the faculty members. Madam presented her feedback to the teachers and appreciated all our hard work. She also emphasized on making the students more  bold, out spoken and creative.

Republicday Celebration 2019

We celebrated 70th republic day on 26th January 2019. The flag was hoisted by the Chief guest by Shri. Prabhu Surin, Police Inspector, Keshwapur, Hubballi with great pride and national anthem was sung followed by march past from our children of all the four houses. Children of all the four houses . Children expressed their views by giving a speech in kannada, Hindi and reading of the preamble. Felicitation of leaders and volunteers also done followed by the grand display of the skating by our school children.

IT(Computer) Quiz 2019

Objective : Intellectual, Mental and IT skills Develpment

NIIT nGuru, Bangalore as every year this year also conducted IT Quiz for class VIth to Xth std. Firstly elimination round was taken for the students who were interested in Quiz. And as per their performance in elimination round students were selected and put in two major category Junior and Senior respectively. wherein 3 Groups were made with 3 students each in both the categories.  Mr Ashish IT mentor, Bangalore was host of the quiz.

Winners from Junior Category :

  1. Aprameya. k – 7th std
  2. Aditya – 6th std
  3. Ananya Agarwal – 8th std

Winners from Senior Category :

  1. Samarth Nasbi- Xth std
  2. Saad.I – IXth std

Outcome – Students thoroughly enjoyed the different difficult levels of the quiz and gained lot of information about present IT sector. Winners received Gold medals, Runners up with Silver Medals and Third Place with Bronze Medals and certificates respectively .
